Mom: A resort (or something along those lines)
Me: A park
Jacob: A golf course
In other words, after 5 people worked on it this afternoon, it looks very nice. :) The boys even cut down several low branches on the trees so we can mow under the trees without getting poked and smacked. Andrew and I ran the weed-wacker (which seems to have a mind of it's own as to if it's going to stay running or not). My dad ran the huge weed-wacker. Jacob mowed the rifle range with the tractor/header. Dad and Mom mowed the rest of the lawn. It's great to work together....
My mom and I also weeded the greenhouse most of the way today and transplanted the peppers out of the greenhouse, into the garden. If they all grow, we should have peppers to spare and share later this year!
I took down the old snowfence that was on the south side of our volleyball court and put up a brand new, longer piece. Now we shouldn't have to run for the ball quite so often. :)
My dad did some spraying today too and the boys finished stacking the first cutting alfalfa bales (the F. boys rode along again). On the way home from the field, Jacob had a flat tire on the tractor, so Andrew went back for him as it was lunch time, then later they went and fixed the tire and got the tractor home.
It was a busy day. We don't thank God often enough for keeping us all safe, I know. There are so many ways that accidents could happen and I'm just so glad for His protection each day! (Of course, we all get scratched and scraped, bumped and bruised, but that's life.)
